TCHS students and staff had a fantastic assembly yesterday led by Mr. Michael DeLeon addressing the dangers of vaping addiction, the effects of drugs and alcohol on youth, suicide, and bullying. We'd like to thank all of the sponsors for bringing Mr. DeLeon to us, and we'd like to specifically thank Connie and John Gyorr for their help in planning yesterday and their continued work through Marisa's Purpose.
The public is invited to tonight's community event held at Monticello High School at 6:30pm.



Introducing the "Beach Boys" who will make their stage debut next week in Mamma Mia! Kudos to these seniors for trying something new. They have been a great addition to the cast. You won't want to miss the dancing talents of Keller Beachy, Andrew Bennett, Aiden Devlin, Zack Rennels, Kade Wilcox, and Sawyer Woodard!

Mrs. Linker took several of our HS students on Saturday to compete in the Parkland Regional Science Olympiad Contest. Our students performed well with several walking away with awards.

Red Hill High School is the host. Their address is: 908 Church St. Bridgeport, IL 62417.
See map picture. Spectators will park on the North side of the school and walk between the buildings to access the gym. Spectators can also park on the South side of the building and enter the gym from the South.

We'd like to thank First Christian Church of Tuscola for allowing our East Prairie and TCHS students to hear former MLB player Scott Spiezio's story of overcoming adversity and addiction. Scott spoke to our students this morning and will be at FCC tonight at 6:30pm. The public is invited to attend to hear his "It's Never Too Late" story on addiction and moving forward!

Following last night's school board meeting, we're excited to announce Coach Bill Lyons as our next Head Volleyball Coach. Coach Lyons becomes the 9th Volleyball coach in TCHS history. He's currently a PE/Conditioning teacher at TCHS and takes over the program with 8 years of experience as a high school head volleyball coach.
Coach hit the ground running today as he met with our current high school volleyball players over lunch.
We're looking forward to the future under his leadership!

A tradition at TCHS is alive again!
Students in Mr. Nelson's History courses are learning how to properly fold the flag at the end of each school day thanks to the help of Coach Lyons.
