Any current 8th grade - Juniors interested in trying out for the 2025-2026 THS Football or Basketball cheer squads can mark their calendars for tryouts! On March 22nd, TCHS Student Council went to the District Convention and Tristin Anderson had been nominated for the North Star Award for Service. Celia Dandy was also recognized for the Credentials Committee.

Thursday and Friday performances are sold out, but there will be tickets available at the door before both the Saturday (7:00) and Sunday (2:00) shows. We hope to see you there!
Mamma Mia Senior Spotlight
Today we are featuring our last senior, Olivia Wallace. She has participated in drama all four years, and is excited to be playing the part of Donna! Mamma Mia has been fun because her two best friends in the show are some of her closest friends in real life, and she also gets to play "Mom" to one of her best friends. There are other friends who joined the cast this year, and she has enjoyed getting to witness their talents as well. Olivia recommends joining drama in high school because it is an amazing space where students can find new ways of expressing themselves. It is about connecting with people who share the same passions and creativity.
Well said Olivia! Kudos to all of the seniors who will be truly missed next year. Enjoy your last weekend together on stage as Mamma Mia opens tomorrow at TCHS!
Congrats to Alex Lin who placed 10th in the Precalculus Regional Mathematics Competition and qualified for the State Competition.
Congrats as well to Isabella Dueker who placed 3rd in the Geometry Regional Mathematics Competition and qualified for the State Competition.
Alex and Isabella will compete in the State Finals at Illinois State University on Saturday, April 26th.
Mamma Mia Senior Spotlight
Ava Rauguth is a senior starring in her very first musical here at TCHS! Mamma Mia has been her favorite movie since she was little, and she is excited to be playing the part of Tanya. Ava has loved being part of this show and having fun with all of her friends on stage. What a great addition to the cast she has been!

Mamma Mia Senior Spotlight
Andrew Spillman has been a four year drama member who will be playing the part of Harry next week in Mamma Mia! His freshmen year, Andrew stepped into a role the week of the musical and learned the entire part in just a few days. He is thankful for all of the people he has met and friendships he has made through drama. He encourages people to get out of their comfort zone and try something new.
Andrew is also a 4 year basketball player who has always juggled a busy spring schedule. Best of luck to the Tuscola Warriors Basketball Team tonight as they play for the Sectional Championship!

Karson Jeffers has been a four year drama member who will be playing the part of Sam next week in Mamma Mia! He has enjoyed his time in drama because of the people he has been surrounded by. He loved being in Grease his sophomore year and the seniors he shared the stage with. Karson thinks people should join drama for the experience of having fun with anyone and everyone.

Mya has loved building confidence during her time on stage and has built many new friendships with fellow cast members. TCHS students and staff had a fantastic assembly yesterday led by Mr. Michael DeLeon addressing the dangers of vaping addiction, the effects of drugs and alcohol on youth, suicide, and bullying. We'd like to thank all of the sponsors for bringing Mr. DeLeon to us, and we'd like to specifically thank Connie and John Gyorr for their help in planning yesterday and their continued work through Marisa's Purpose.
The public is invited to tonight's community event held at Monticello High School at 6:30pm.
Introducing the "Beach Boys" who will make their stage debut next week in Mamma Mia! Kudos to these seniors for trying something new. They have been a great addition to the cast. You won't want to miss the dancing talents of Keller Beachy, Andrew Bennett, Aiden Devlin, Zack Rennels, Kade Wilcox, and Sawyer Woodard!
