Andrew Spillman has been a four year drama member who will be playing the part of Harry next week in Mamma Mia! His freshmen year, Andrew stepped into a role the week of the musical and learned the entire part in just a few days. Mrs Wallace’s 8th grade science classes were visited today by several doctoral students from the Biophotonics Imaging Lab in Beckman Institute at the University of Illinois. Students learned all about the research currently underway to help diagnose medical conditions of the ear. They even got hands on experience with several pieces of technology that help see into the ears using both light and sound waves. Thank you to Mr. Spillman for organizing this visit and sharing your knowledge with the 8th graders.
