Mamma Mia Senior Spotlight Today we are showcasing senior, Rylie Vanausdoll. This is her first production here at TCHS, and she will be playing the part of Rosie. Rylie has always been too busy for the musical, but Mamma Mia has been one of her favorites since she was two. She told Mrs. Steffens if it were ever chosen here she would audition, and she kept her word! Rylie has loved being able to sing and perform again, and all of the new friendships she has made. We are just TWO days away from opening night! Thursday and Friday are completely sold out, but there will be a limited number of tickets for sale at the door before both Saturday and Sunday performances.

We would like to offer a fan bus to Paris Mayo tomorrow, Monday March 10th, for the 7th grade girls Volleyball Sectional Game. This would be for any 5-8th East Prairie Student. Bus would leave E.P. at 5:15 for a 6:30 game. There will be school personnel supervising. Cost would be $10 - that would include game entry and bus cost for the students. Anyone who would like to sign up please respond to Mr. Vanausdoll via email: vanausdollj@cusd301.org or sign up in the office before 8:10 tomorrow. We apologize for the late notice but would still like to offer this service for those wanting to cheer on our volleyball team! Thank you - Mr. Vanausdoll

Mamma Mia Senior Spotlight Andrew Spillman has been a four year drama member who will be playing the part of Harry next week in Mamma Mia! His freshmen year, Andrew stepped into a role the week of the musical and learned the entire part in just a few days. He is thankful for all of the people he has met and friendships he has made through drama. He encourages people to get out of their comfort zone and try something new. Andrew is also a 4 year basketball player who has always juggled a busy spring schedule. Best of luck to the Tuscola Warriors Basketball Team tonight as they play for the Sectional Championship!

Mamma Mia Senior Spotlight Karson Jeffers has been a four year drama member who will be playing the part of Sam next week in Mamma Mia! He has enjoyed his time in drama because of the people he has been surrounded by. He loved being in Grease his sophomore year and the seniors he shared the stage with. Karson thinks people should join drama for the experience of having fun with anyone and everyone. Karson is also a 4 year basketball player who has always juggled a busy spring schedule. Best of luck to the Tuscola Warriors Basketball Team tonight as they play for the Sectional Championship!

Mrs Wallace’s 8th grade science classes were visited today by several doctoral students from the Biophotonics Imaging Lab in Beckman Institute at the University of Illinois. Students learned all about the research currently underway to help diagnose medical conditions of the ear. They even got hands on experience with several pieces of technology that help see into the ears using both light and sound waves. Thank you to Mr. Spillman for organizing this visit and sharing your knowledge with the 8th graders.
