We'd like to congratulate Mr. Knofsky and our Industrial Arts program for being awarded an Empowering Education Grant from Eastern Illini Electric Cooperative. The grant money will be used towards new equipment to improve the air quality in the classroom. The air filtering units are designed to capture free-floating dust generated in the shop area. Our Varsity Scholastic Bowl Team competed in the 42nd Annual Illinois Masonic Academic Bowl Class 1A Sectional Tournament on Saturday at Cumberland HS. The Warriors finished in 4th place. Results for the day are below.

Tuscola defeated Palestine-Hutsonville 200-140.
Tuscola defeated Central A&M 220-200.
Tuscola defeated Dieterich 210-70.
Casey-Westfield defeated Tuscola 190-160.
Central A&M defeated Tuscola 190-140.

Our Varsity will now compete in the IHSA Regional on March 9th at TCHS.
