Mrs. Steedly's class says thanks to Mrs. Bozarth for the new water bottles. North Ward was awarded a grant to due to Mrs. Bozarth's hard work. Every person gets a water bottle and North Ward gets new bottle filling stations.

This guy knows that hard work pays off!

Ms. Michael received a grant from the Illinois Retired Teachers Association Foundation to purchase MIDI keyboards for the Music Appreciation classes at East Prairie. The grant was large enough to purchase 16 keyboards for our students!

East Prairie Girl's Basketball is underway!
The girls will be in action at the Mahomet Tournament next week!



It's been a great week for our HS golf teams. Our girls team advanced to the sectional meet yesterday by finishing 3rd at the Moweaqua regional. They'll play Monday in Taylorville.

From our boys team, Jacob Waugh and Brayden Gough advanced out of the regional on Wednesday in Tuscola and will play Monday in Kankakee.


Warning! Learning is happening in Mrs. Hallett's class, I think. Some students, however, improvise when writing the sentence "I will pick an apple".

This kiddo is working hard today! His teacher is so proud and I think he is too.

Rhonda McCumber's last day at TCHS is Friday. Please let her know how much CUSD 301 has appreciated her and will miss her!

Our first harvest from the NW garden. I can’t wait to show last years 1st graders the pumpkins we planted and how it actually grew. Lots of blooms and green pumpkins still growing so take your class to see the process anytime in the next month or two.
