Students and staff celebrated Mr. Sawyer with a book signing after school today. Mr. Sawyer teaches World History, Geography, Psychology, Sociology, and Current Events at TCHS. His children's book, Cardigan McCool and The Great Pyramids, was just published and is now for sale on Amazon.
The book is the first of a series of young children's books about an exploratory dog who goes on adventures and learns about history and life lessons. Cardigan is a loving basset hound who cares dearly for his best friend, Jeffrey. In this story, Cardigan uses his magic cardigan sweater to travel to Egypt to explore the pyramids and all things Egypt. All the friends that Cardigan meets are animals just like him. What will Cardigan find on his adventure?
